Ok, so it's about time I say something to everyone I guess. Well, first of all CONGRATULATIONS to my wonderful husband. I am so proud of him and he deserves this job so much!!! Looks like we're finally on our way!!

He has said a lot, but I would like to say a little about my new job: I have been here for 6 weeks now and I absolutely love it!! It is truly an amazing firm. The firm is very family oriented and treat their employees extremely well. The firm is Bondurant Mixson and Elmore and I work for Mr. Elmore, one of the founding partners. We have great benefits here, but the best things are the small perks. For instance, every Friday we have a happy hour party at 4:30 complete with food, wine and beer in one of our conference rooms. We work very hard here (I have worked 3 out of 5 weekends so far) but the overtime money is great. And we also play very hard!! We go to really nice dinners, gorgeous lunches, fun parties, drink lots of wine :) and Jeff and I get great seats to see the Braves and the Hawks! Everyone here is spectacular and I enjoy the work and the people I am working with. I also couldn't ask for a better boss.

So, it looks like Jeff and I will continue to work very hard at our careers and it's starting to pay off! We are planning to buy a townhouse on the West side of town in the spring. More on that to come after Christmas!!

Actually, on that note, I would like to tell you all that we are traveling to Apex this weekend to be with Josh. The Baby Steps Group (a play group that Meredith and Boone were involved in) is having a dedication ceremony on Saturday. They have had a plaque made and have bought a tree to be planted at Boone's favorite park with the plaque. A luncheon will follow the dedication. Grandmother and Grandfather will be there, as well as Meredith's family and Boone's teacher. Jeff and I will be picking up mom on the way to Apex. Love you all!!

New job! well, some of you know and some of you don't but i've been waiting on this HUGE job from BBDO Atlanta for like 6 months. Well, today it came. I finally got an offer from them and i accepted. It's pretty much what i'm doing now only i get to assist in new business which is huge. anyway, this is a huge promotion and an incredible job and company to work for. for those of you unfamiliar with the company visit: www.bbdoatl.com and here our office is the top floor of this building.
